Once upon a time, my semester abroad got cAnCeLLed!! I came home SUPER broke and right in the beginning of spring, so what did I do?! I went to goodwill and bought FOUR beige sweaters for $25! I love beige sweaters because they can easily be worn all through the spring and into cooler summer dayzzz. SO, what can you expect from this blog? Me styling 4 oversized beige sweaters. They are all different styles, and I tried to create four completely different looks. KEEP IN MIND — spring in Minnesota is no warm paradise, so these outfits are most suitable for a Minnesotan spring. Also, I literally found all of these sweaters in the mens XL sweater section at goodwill. So, if you’re tryna find similar pieces, and you’re in a huge rush, start there.

Look 1 - Sleeveless Button Down

This is a mens XXL button down cardigan. I love this sleeveless cardigan, because it is super versatile for all seasons. Because it is sleeveless, it is perfect for the spring/summer with just a tank under it. In the winter, it can be layered with turtle necks, so this sweater can be worn year round! For this look, I chose to pair it with black straight leg jeans. To tie in the black jeans, I also chose a cropped black tank under the cardigan. I finished the look with black leather heeled boots, which helps elevate the look. I love this look because it is comfortable, but it is also chic and could be worn in nicer venues. I accessorized with a Louis Vuitton lock necklace and hoop earrings. I chose a bulkier necklace, because the neckline was simple and relatively low. The necklace helps fill the space, while also adding a simple statement. Also, if you’re trying to make this look more ~summer~ you can pair it with a lighter wash pair of denim. Look 2 - Knit Sweater

This sweater is a mens XXL knit sweater. This look creates a relaxed silhouette, because the sweater is oversized. I also paired it with baggy fitting vintage Levi jeans, which contributes to the silhouette. I chose acid wash jeans, because it creates a statement in the look with the neutral sweater. Again, I styled this look with black leather heeled boots. For the details, I choose a chunky gold chain to add interest to the cream sweater. The chain also elevates the look, making a simple outfit look chic and trendy. You can use a chunky gold chain with any sweater to make it look finished and less sloppy. Look 3 - Quarter Button Down

The next look styles a quarter button down oversized sweater— Mens XL. I love this sweater because it is a lighter fabric, which makes it perfect with shorts in the summer, or to throw over any look when it gets colder at night. I also love wearing this sweater to bed, because it is so comfortable! This sporty fit is perfect for getting groceries and running errands. I chose to tuck this sweater into a pair of denim joggers. Because the hybrid denim joggers echo an athletic vibe, I chose to pair this look with chunky sneakers. For the necklace, I chose a thin gold chain. This chain works well, because the button neckline is a little busy so a simple necklace is essential. This outfit is the perfect mix of sporty and casual. Look 4 - Zip-up Sweater

This sweater is a large mens cream zip-up. The collar makes it resemble a similar style to the Lululemon zip ups, which inspired me to pair it with biker shorts. I chose cheetah biker shorts to add some interest to the beige sweater. I also tied in the colors of the joggers by adding a cropped tank underneath. I choose chunky sneakers with mesh gold socks. If you’re trying to boost the look, ankle socks look super cute with chunky sneakers. For this sporty look, I chose a simple gold chain and gold hoops. These are the accessories and items I used in all of the looks — They are some of the favorites! First off, I cannot get enough of gold jewelry right now. It elevates ANY look. You could literally be wearing sweatpants and a sweatshirt, and if you add hoops and a gold chain.. BOOM you are LiTeRaLLy Hailey Bieber! I also am obsessed my Louis Vuitton lock necklace. It is such an easy everyday necklace. I have also been loving a low bun with a scrunchy. This scrunchy I particularly like because it is fuzzy, which is reminiscent of 90’s details. It also never leaves dents in my hair. Next, THESE LEATHER BOOTS — I love them soOooO much. They look cute with sooo many different styles of pants. We are talking skirts, cropped pants, straight leg pants, and basically every type of bottom you can imagine. I also love styling them with dresses.They are mid calf, which is a trend for boots that is headed in. I also love the thick block heel, because they are easy to walk in and comfortable for long wear. I also think that adding a heal to a look, makes it look so much more stylish and chic. Lastly, the classic dad sneaker, I wear these every single day. They look good with everything! I chose this specific sneaker because they are neutral enough to pair with anything, but they also have a fun pop of orange. I also liked them, because they had a similar silhouette to the Balenciaga Triple S Sneaker, but they didn’t break the bank!
